Daniela Quinn

Lieutenant Quinn was raised in the city of Delray Beach. Prior to starting a career in Law Enforcement, she worked for the Florida Department of Children and Families as a Child Protective Investigator. She began her Law Enforcement career at the Delray Beach Police Department in 2005. She was promoted to Sergeant in 2015 and Lieutenant in 2018. She was assigned to the Night Watch Commander in the Patrol Division but was recently promoted to oversee the Internal Affairs Bureau.
She has a diverse career that includes having worked on the Community Response Task Force, Clean and Safe Unit and Crimes Against Persons Unit. Lieutenant Quinn graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science in 2004 and in 2015 she received her Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Lynn University. She is also a graduate of the Southern Police Institute- 81st Command Officers Course and the International Association of Chiefs of Police- Women’s Leadership Institute.
Lieutenant Quinn’s professional affiliations include the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives, National Tactical Officers Association and the Southern Police Institute Alumni Association.
Lieutenant Quinn is actively involved in Youth initiatives in the communities of Delray Beach to include mentoring and she is also active on several committees and boards in the community.
